I am honored to introduce myself as an educator who is deeply committed to inspiring and empowering students to reach their fullest potential. My academic journey began at Monash University, where I pursued a Bachelor of Science and later a Masters in Teaching. This academic foundation laid the groundwork for my passion for education and my desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students.

My teaching career commenced in Melbourne, where I had the privilege of working in public and private high schools, engaging with students from diverse backgrounds and learning abilities. After three years in Melbourne, I embarked on an educational journey to the United Kingdom, where I taught in over 20 primary and secondary schools, covering subjects such as Maths, Science, Chemistry, and Psychology. This international experience broadened my horizons and deepened my understanding of different teaching methodologies.

One of the core principles of my teaching philosophy is the cultivation of a growth mindset over a fixed one. I firmly believe that the way we approach learning can have a profound impact on our academic success and personal development. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to imparting this fundamental concept to my students, equipping them with the learning strategies and self-belief necessary not only for academic excellence but also for life beyond the classroom.

I take great pride in the fact that I have consistently witnessed students transform from a fixed mindset to embracing a growth mindset. This transformation, combined with the implementation of various teaching techniques and coaching methods, has led to marked improvements in academic outcomes, helping numerous students achieve their educational goals. Furthermore, I place a strong emphasis on establishing genuine and supportive relationships with my students. I believe that a comfortable and effective learning environment can only be fostered when students feel heard, valued, and understood.

Empowering students is at the core of my teaching mission. I believe that it is not enough for students to simply acquire knowledge and skills; they must also learn to use the strategies they've acquired to empower themselves and, in turn, support their peers and anyone else they wish to help. My commitment to instilling this sense of responsibility and empowerment in my students has been a driving force in my career.

I am genuinely enthusiastic about guiding students on their educational journeys, helping them overcome challenges, and realising their true potential.
